A common question about the forum is 'WTF does all the stuff under my name panel mean, and what use is it??'. There are also many things that people ask, so to help this out, I will answer a few common questions

Q: I've signed up, where do I get a avatar from?

A: Avatars are not supplied by StreetGeek, you have to supply one by yourself. The file format has to be no more than 120x120 pixels and can be no larger than 15kb . You can set the avatar from the Profile menu on the top tool bar

Q: How do I post?

A: Should be pretty straight forward. Go to the forums, find a thread and topic you want to talk about, and go down to the bottom and hit the Quick Reply link.

Q: I want to post something that may insult someone. Is there a way to post as having no name?

A: No. And if there was, We wouldn't let you.

Q: What does all the stuff next to my post mean?

A: To best answer this, the image below will do the talking for me.

Q: What is the significance of the name under my screen name?

A: This is a title that is granted to you based on the amounts of posts you have made on the forum. You start off as a n00b, and you need to post in order to gain the next title level (which in this case, 50 posts makes you a w41l h4ck3r). The highest level is ub3r pwnz0r, at 1,000 posts.

Q: What does the HP, MP, Level and EXP mean

A: This is kind of a ranking system we use on the forum. EXP stands for Experience, and you gain one experience point for each post you make. If you fill up the EXP bar, you go up one level and the total amount of HP and MP you can hold also goes up. HP stands for Hit Points, and it is based on the daily average posts. If for example, the daily average posts is 30, and you post 10 posts (33%), your health will be no less than 33%. The more you post, the more this goes up. However, if you dont post for a while, this will slowly decrease to 0. MP is Mana Points, and this represents how much mana you can use to post (1 post = 1 MP). If you post too much (such as spamming), you will deplete your mana.

Q: I'm currently a *insert random title here*, but I see users go around that have custom titles, such as teh admin. Where is the setting to allow me to make my own custom title

A: It's in the Admin control panel. Users are not permitted to make their own custom titles. Only Admins have the privelleges to set a custom title, and only Admins, Moderators and users who make great contributions to the Forum and LAN can get one.

Q: I want to be a Moderator/Admin! How do I become one

A: If you want to be a moderator, PM BlackPantSamurai, as he is the Head Moderator and deals will all moderator issues. If you post regularly, show good forum ettiquette and be generally well behaved and responsible, you may be made a moderator (will be dependent on number of moderators at that point in time). It is incredibly difficult to become an admin, as you need to sit on the committee of the LAN to become an admin. Currently, there are only 8 committee members.

Q: Someone is harrassing me on the forums or a user is posting things i find offensive. Who do I talk to get this dealt with?

A: PM one of the moderators or admins with your message including evidence of what is going on, and also reasons why you think that whatever is happening is offensive. The moderators will deal with the offending user, and if the behaviour does not stop, the user will be banned from the forum.
